The population density was 2,028.1 people per square mile (782.6/km²). There were 2,035 housing units at an average density of 814.5/sq mi (314.3/km²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 92.26% White, 4.52% African American, 0.16% Native American, 2.39% Asian, 0.06% from other races, and 0.61% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.14% of the population.There were 1,978 households; of those, 29.5% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 55.8% were married couples living together, 8.2% had a female householder with no husband present, and 33.9% were non-families. 29.4% of all households were made up of individuals, and 15.4% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
